I paid some $300 for the weekend. I think the week was around $600. I suspect that the Iyengar Association didn’t make a profit on it. It costs a lot for the facility, and administration of the event. Was cheaper then going to India. — ~Stu

Greetings, I just returned from a three day retreat this week that was 20$ for all three days and nights, satsang, kirtans, one on one, festival dinner……fri ..sat.. sun about 50 people per day at 20$ each and i stayed 45 min’s left as most did only going to the part they enjoyed then leaving.but you got a ticket for 3 days. So they made/collected 3000+ dollars for 6 hrs of work a potluk dinner and a day of counseling with a coast to coast travel plan…… but donations were cool from 0- up no limit. They yoga studio had a deal with the Bhagwan a % this was really fun, clean cut, easy going and he handed me candy. I have never seen more cute chics had more fun been happier at a retreat ever and didnt even feel stupid it was totally perfect if i ever lecture i have found my style. I could travel the world at no cost for pretty close to no cost and everybody would get thiers monies worth. This was the cleanest best moves i have ever seen $20…….the works or $20 that what you want. Not $300- not $1500 nothing as perfect as answer lecture sing chant and great food. Thats 52 weeks a year thats 50 states usa endless countries and a real person with the real slick answers. Hey guess what i dont have any religion and i am not a buddhist jain dharmist of sikh but i know by doing about every alter consciousness experience and many i have yet to find names for as these guys are not nterested in things past s/s. I bet if i do i bet some of my participators gain realization i surely do it just happens of course as many only go to those that have or do in those removing any blockage of a pyschological inhibitor to them by them. That last excuse would be gone of thiers. Maybe about the time they give me my senior discount aye. JD
