Question:
How are you guys handling plantar fascitius problems? I picked one of these things up recently and tried cold/heat ect. Any help will be appreciated.bd
Response:
The tendon needs to be stretched. Every time you come to steps or stoops, let them stretch out. Rolfing / Structural Integration can be very helpful, because a skilled rolfer will lengthen the connective tissues, in several hours it’s like years of expert stretching/yoga. Don’t try to run through it, it can cause a stress fracture of your heel. I was once there. Orthodics can certainly help. They can be designed by either a good chiropractor or podiatrist. Response:
I treated it with a visit to a podiatrist(make sure he is sports medicine oriented) I used cold , compression, and ibuprofin. I also had orthotics prescribed by the podiatrist. These helped immediately. I have not had the problem since. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – How are you guys handling plantar fascitius problems?
